Mary is my best, oldest and dearest friend! We grew up together since the age of 2! People tell me that it is very rare to still be friends with people for that long, but Mary and I think that is pure nonsense! She is one person that I know will be in my life forever! Mary is expecting her first child (a girl!) in late August! Maya and I cannot wait! We are anxiously awaiting her arrival! We did a quick shoot today…appropriately on Mother’s Day! Welcome to the club, Mary!

   I am so happy to be part of the club! Don’t they look alike? My mom is very proud of the fact that Maya has her eyes! Happy Mother’s Day to my mom and all moms everywhere! Do you think Maya is going to hate having her picture taken later on in life? I sure hope not! I think I have the best subject to practice on! This was the first Easter Maya was able to hunt for eggs. Last year she was only 10 months old AND she was sleeping! Once she saw what the other kids were doing, she got the hang of it and filled her basket with eggs! She was so excited! She wasn’t in the best of moods starting out because of her hurt lip, but that all changed once she started the hunt! She has also learned how to climb this tree we have in our front yard. She’ll climb up it and just stand there are look around! It’s the cutest thing! Helping her Ba (grandma) plant flowers! |
